My bed and new yarn.
I cleaned my room again and settled on a new way to make my bed (that being the folded comforter, exposing the cotton blanket underneath) it seems silly, but I prefer the cotton blanket over the comforter because it looks cleaner and more cottage like. Also on the bed are new yarn(s?) that Azria and I picked out for hat making. I’m always excited to work with new yarn. I’m so in love with all of the colors!
Also pictured: Megan (the dino I’ve had since I was a baby) and *sigh* yes those are Twilight books on the top shelf. I try to hide them behind the picture, which usually works, because I don’t like throwing/giving books away (bibliophile FTW). They are basically a joke, and I don’t know why I read them.

I slept for a majority of this day, and unfortunately have no photos. I feel like a failure because of this, and also for the fact that I didn’t upload anything for a week. So I’ll take this post to apologize to those following for all the dashboard clutter.

Ian Richardson and myself at Skull Alley.
I went to see The Past Times play their first show in about 5 months. It was enjoyable to see their unrecorded songs again… but I thought they lacked the energy they had before. It was moderately crowded, especially for a Past Times show, so I left almost as soon as they were done. (Social Symphony drained me of my crowd withstanding stamina the weekend before.)
I chose this photo of Ian and I because we take a picture every time we are together… and instead of using this as reason to choose a different photo, I chose to display this tradition.
ALSO, TOO, IN ADDITION: Ian insists he’s an old man because he is 26, and that he has missed the marriage “boat,” which you “have to be 20-22 to get on.” I thought this was funny, because now a days it is so true.

4 huge ass muffins.
Did you know that if you go to Mimi’s Cafe and say it’s your first time there they will give you 4 free muffins? They’re fantastic! I had a long day with my mom and her friend, Judy. We went out to lunch and then to an antique shop in J-town that another friend of my mom’s opened a few months ago. SO COOL.
As a side note, Judy drives in a way similar to the way Earnie drives the Knight Bus in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, or Maude in Harold and Maude.

Thursday night, the start of my weekend. Sarah DiMartile and I went to Chad’s house to play Mario Kart, which she and Chad sucked at (for once.) Tyler and Kyle watched Kenan and Kel, and I mostly played with Kirbs… annnnnd talked with Chad’s family.

After classes, Dustin and I went to the mall. I haven’t been a mall rat for some time now, and it was quite fun. Abercrombie did NOT have a blown up racy photo of a half naked man this time, so the day was rather enjoyable.

Kirk came to visit the family for the first time since his return home, I am unsure of if I saw him before this night or not, but it was nice to see him again regardless. Today was also the first day of SCHOOL!!! I am getting better at incorporating all important aspects of the day in one photo, because his reading represents “academia.” Right?

Harry Potter Sunday, Banana Bread, and Hot Chocolate.
There isn’t much need to explain any of the above, except that I formulated the banana bread recipe myself, and finally baked it today. I am rather proud of that. Of course you should know I’m addicted to hot chocolate, and partake in Harry Potter Sunday every Sunday.
Also, I cleaned my room. YAY for school tomorrow! I AM SO EXCITED.

Azria Roby-Taylor (11) at her Fashion Show Birthday Party.
I went down to the neighbors to help do hair/makeup for a bunch of girls at Azii’s birthday party, and ended up having a really good time. The girls had a few categories they fashioned… there was “nerd,” “casual,” “optional,” “formal,” and “sleepwear.” No one complained or argued, and their outfits were really cute!
